2 days in Paris

Oh-lan-la-Paris ^.^

I traveled to Paris on 23 Mar, 2010 with friends (we are 5 Asian Girls. We stayed there with Lao family who live there (my teammate's relatives), they are very kind. We spent the time in Paris for two days only, first day we took the bus and the train(Metro)to the centre of Paris, we visited Louvre (Piramyd), Monument (this is very similar with we have in Laos), Eifel Tower one of the famous places in the world and also the other places for shopping (window shopping). It was very nice to see their modernization. At the Eifel tower, I was thinking I'd like to climb up to the top to see the view arround the city, but we couldn't do that bcoz of so many people were waiting there. So, we just walked arround and then had a sit in the park to relax befor continue to move on to another place. Ah, I felt the time has gone very fast..! not soon we had to back home and had good food, Lao-Thai dinner in Paris.
Next day, we went to visit the other places: Sacre Ceur, Opera,
Notre Dame,...this day I felt tired and it was rain, but we still kept going on bcoz we want to see and we were waiting quite long time for travelling to Paris, France. We all enjoyed travelling in Paris.
On 26th Mar, we travelled back to Norway. It's also very nice to be back !
However, I'd like to tell one thing to who are going to Paris:
"
Becareful people who you trust "

Thank you Lord, we got home safetily !
Also thanks to all of my friends !

At Mesnali ( Camping ) 31-3_4-4_2010

Thank you Lord !

I had my Easter holiday with Påskefamiliefestival at Mesnali, it took arround 9 hours by train from Kristiansand to get there. I went there with a friend from 'Hald', and there were a lot of people (arround 50) with their siblings. We had good time there, played with the kids, shared something about myself, Christianity in my home country, and also staying in Norway. On 1th and 2nd, April we went skiing, this time I did more better, ski along the way down I was very enjoy and like it so much; but the problem for me was I couldn't stop. while I was going, I just shouted to the people to give me the way, or if I want to stop I just find the place to sit(fall down). It made me feel paiful on my body, but I stil like it and I will stil like it. The second day, we went to another place that more down hill, it was very challanged me. I went a little up on the mountain for skiing, I felt I did quite well, so I tried again more up hill,,,it was very good experince and challanged me to try that. I was so proud and happy to do, and poeple said to me" you are so brave to down hill skiing, and you did good job as well" but I saw the Norwegian, they are the best to ski, I think. Near the camp they had funny families games with snow and compitition ski jumping for the children. There were very little kids jumped with ski, it seemed they were flying. now, I understand, that's why they are so good at skiing. They practise since they were very small kids.
The other times, we were together at camp to had fellowship and celebrate Easter.

Blessing to all of you,

Babysang

What my dream is after Hald_?
From my internship period, I experienced and have learnt many good things. There are several interested activities for the kids that attractive me and I really would like to have it in my home country, Laos. Especially is Babysang (Baby singing). It's very nice program for parents and their children are gathered at somewhere of the church with nice music and lots of toys for children. There, we focus on baby’s value and they will be taught about Jesus Christ since they were babies. The other wise, these activities are very helpful for children’s movement or development. I really like babysang..! But many times I was wondering how can I start it or what should I do_?
So, I'm stil thinking about that ^.^
“Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14).

Hver Dag(everyday) at internship place

Vågsbygd Church in Kristiansand is my internship place; here my teammate and I really enjoy “Hver Dag” (every day) with the kids. We mainly help shopping for food and prepare as well. There are also many activities that arranged for the kids which related to the week’s story or for each day.
Once, we had Lao’s week with NMS staffs, who have visited Laos, they presented about Laos to the kids. Actually, Laos is not so well known to the others, but the kids seemed very interesting and asked the questions about Laos. The other things, we made Lao food (not typical food): Khao-Pad (Fried rice) and Yo-Chuen (spring roll, vårruller) that kids were also learnt to make by themselves. We enjoyed making and eating and cleaning afterward as well
